Sing and support Circus Arts Curryoke

MANY hours of training and preparation goes into making a circus star.

While the kids are are sweating and stretching their bodies to the limit each week, the Friends of the Circus are hard at work making it all happen for the young stars of the future.

Aside from car-pooling and sewing costumes, the not-for-profit Friends raise funds to provide the best training environment and performance opportunities at the Circus School.

At 6pm on Saturday the Friends will host a “Curryoke” fund raiser at Circus Arts Byron Bay.

It will include a curry, a silent auction, entertain- ment from the Bollywood Sisters, the Circus Arts Performance Troupe and Circus Arts Ensemble, and a karaoke for all.

The bar will be open.

With support from their families and the Friends of the Circus, the students have performed regularly at festivals such as Splendour and Bluesfest.

Meal and show is $25 or $15 for the show only, and there is a 10% discount for groups of eight or more.
