THE spotlight is on women at today's Screen Actors Guild Awards, with a roster of almost all female presenters, Kristen Bell as its inaugural host, and an opening that will feature only actresses speaking about their craft.
The Awards will honour the best performances in film and television from the past year on Sunday night, but not without also tackling the ongoing sexual misconduct scandal in Hollywood and efforts to improve the industry's treatment of women.
On the red carpet, the stars have ditched the all-black dress code that dominated the Golden Globes earlier this month, with welcome splashes of colour throughout.
