REVEALED: Exciting future for fenced off Nebo Rd motel
THE Nebo Rd side of the Hi-Way Units Motel has been demolished to make way for an exciting upgrade.
The Daily Mercury can reveal there will be a restaurant built in its place with a bar, reception and takeaway counter and expansive glass windows.
It will adjoin the existing hotel with a disabled carpark and entrance off Webberley St.
The proposed L-shaped designed restaurant boasts 155sq m of dining space and also has a counter offering takeaway.
On the outside, there is a covered entrance and gabled roofs.
The landscaping proposal features hardwood timber posts of varying heights as well as tropical planting including palms, crotons, cordylines, heliconias, climbers and succulents.
The motel at 215 Nebo Rd is owned by Cheuk and Zhang Trading Pty Ltd which has an address registered at North Lakes in Brisbane.
