Bachelor in Noosa: Where stars could find love in lockdown
Rumours are swirling that Noosa could soon be the home of next year's Bachelor in Paradise as producers scramble to make the show happen despite COVID-19 restrictions.
This year's season only finished airing in August, but the show usually films every November at Fiji's Mango Bay Resort and then goes to air about six months later.
But this year with COVID-19 forcing mass border closures, international travel is off the cards and uncertainty has surrounded how the show will go on.
An insider told the publication Noosa had been discussed as a "potential location, depending on what happens with Queensland's border and if they can get the cast and crew there".
When contacted by the Daily, Channel 10 did not confirm or deny the rumours that filming would take place in Noosa.
"Our upcoming programming line-up will be announced at the 10 Upfronts next month," a spokeswoman said.
While no announcements have been made about which stars could be in next year's line-up, both winners from last years' Bachelor and Bachelorette, Chelsie McLeod and Carlin Sterritt, have been touted as possible contestants
If the show does get the green light, here are four Noosa locations which would be perfect for filming:
1. MAKEPEACE ISLAND
Of course Makepeace Island would be the best option for a Noosa Bachelor in Paradise.
Sir Richard Branson's private hideaway just minutes by boat from Noosa Heads can accommodate up to 20 castaways in luxurious exclusivity.
Its been frequented by countless celebrities, including the Hemsworth brothers and Justin Bieber.
The island's famous heart shape would also make it an ideal location for contestants to find love.
2. LITTLE COVE COURT
For something a little closer to the action, Little Cove Court could host all the contestants in its self-contained luxury apartments and penthouses.
